What are the 3 B's, you ask? Bears, Beets, Battlestar Gallactica? No, in fact the 3 B's refer to Brewers, Braves, and Boo-ya. These 2 hats arrived this morning from Santa Claus. I had nothing to do with the selection but was pleasantly surprised on Christmas morning with a photo and a note that they were on their way. I now own one of the pieces of clothing needed for the August trip to the sun-scorched land of Arizona. Better late than never, I say.

Who's the best at procrastinating? Me. Well in purchasing this Christmas present anyway. I couldn't find the right hats in the stores & wasn't going to pay $20 for shipping to maybe get them here Christmas. So, Casey got to enjoy opening a Christmas present today a mere 11 days late. Hooray for extended Christmas!
Ashley, need I give more examples of procrastanation? I am king. You may be queen. But I wrote that book. Casey/Ashley, as another extended gift to, and to celebrate I will do my part in the Braves attire, and will remember to bring his braves shirt to him tomorrow. Before august we will do a cram session with casey on all players, and tendicies, as he might not be as knowledgeable on the topic. Ashley, that's the sign of a great wife, supporting the Braves by buying stuff like that for christmas.
the brewers? I understand that the hat is a bit of a classic in a time where ugly and old are in fashion, but when does it end? Are you planning on getting the brown and yellow old school padres hat too?
Tikes showed me a hat on lids.com that was an actual Monk (Padre) swinging a baseball bat. It was sweet.
I never thought of that eitehr until Greg (Padres) fan, told me about it. I mean think about it. Padre' = father. father = weird guy in robe in some religion. maybe back in the day padres' really were playing ball. I dig the brewers hat though.
I agree with the hat choice Ash...the only way the brew crew hat could be better is if it were yellow background amongst all the blue....sweet...as for the ties to the braves, perhaps you have heard of their manager? Ned Yost? Yep the same Ned Yost who used to coach third base for the Braves....Besides, the braves used to be in Milwaukee....they are pretty much brother and sister, so you are free to root for the brewers.
Casey, do you want me to update your blog for you? It's been a while, I feel like I've lost touch with you. Hello? Base to C-hub, Base to C-Hub...
I know - it's kinda pathetic - a two week drought. I will get on it ASAP - meaning either today or tomorrow (Saturday).
